All models flying from the site must comply with the 82db limit recommended by the DoE Code of Practice.

 

In order to assist reduction of noise levels here are some suggestions that may help:

• Propellers – experiment with different makes/size (APC tend to be quieter than Graupner and some other makes)
• Additional silencers – to reduce exhaust noise
• Secure loose coverings/model parts and fixings to stop them flapping
• Use rubber engine mounts to absorb vibration
